1. Skye's Birthday Party- Skye and her birthday dress, unfortunately for a fairly unsober Skye it seemed she was a little too small for her dress and did in fact have issues keeping it up. An easy enough task to maintain whilst sober, but when you've been drinking Simmo's mixer drink it's not such an easy task. Skye was done for the night at around 10.30-11.

2. Ash - In one of her blonde moments, "I only get sunburnt when the suns out" - enough said.

3. Stotty's Birthday Party - After already spending the day at a Presidents lunch with free wine the group at this party were already somewhat tipsy, the day did include Stotty almost falling down the stairs and Alicia ripping her pants attempting to step over a little fence at the League game.This of course makes for great fun at a party.
The journey back to Stotty's house after the League game with Jonesy and Alicia was somewhat amusing, with Alicia on the phone to Stotty Jonesy asked if she could get a whopper burger, Alicia managed to get this out as Ropper burger instead. We were almost at the party when I accidently drove past the bottle shop so we had to do a turn around and then took even longer when navigator Jonesy took us the wrong way, after getting lost we drove past nearly every street sign at around 20km with us all hanging out the windows trying to read the signs in the darkness. Finally we arrived at the party which was shaping up to be a good one.
It was Jonesy who suggested to a fairly drunken Alicia, in her new Swannies tie and torn jeans, that it would be a great idea for her to run across the pool cover. Without hesitation Alicia was getting some old clothes from Stotty and getting ready to run the pool, it was close but she managed to make it to the other side with only half falling in, but of course it wasn't good enough so she jumped in anyways.
Then back inside with a couple of mixed CDs from cars plus a few of the golden oldies CDs, Chella was leading the way with karaoke, into a remote control of course. This of course provided plenty of entertainment with countless people joining in with Chella's singing and dancing, including one of Stotty's other friends who Chels had never met before. Needless to say this made for a pretty good party.

4. Simmo's Rubix Cube Party - Come as a colour from the rubix cube and wear flippers were the only instructions for this party. Of course in true Skye fashion, she went all out with her blue, including about 3 different tops, and blue tights. However the classic for the night was the Blondes, with Luggsy and Kate in green and Lisa in yellow they rocked up with their flippers on and their goon box. I had the pleasure of driving those three around that night and the driving was just about as much fun as the party was. With drinking games and clothes swapping a good night was a definite.

5. The 1st Round of Finals - Skye's stack, well apparently it was the stack of the year considering she never hit the ground. Stepping in the ice bucket and tripping, then putting her other foot in the ice bucket and as she fell reaching out for the massive board which of course went crashing the minute she grabbed for it, in spite of this she managed to keep her feet.

6. Swans Karaoke Night - The fundraiser event of the year for Swans. Kicked off with a fair few people getting ready at Skye's, including Bob Marley, the Blue's Brothers, Billy the busker and the Village people. With a car already left at the oval with our "supplies" in the back and it pouring with rain we all crammed into a few different cars.
It wasn't long before things were getting interesting. Possibly the drunkest Blink 182 ever was there ripping up the dance floor. A couple of Beach boys, Ozzy Osbourne, Dolly Parton, Tegan and Sara, oh and throw in a couple more Blues Brothers. The Village people kicked of the karaoke, with Skye as the police officer, Jonesy the cowboy, Donna as the construction worker, Stotty as the indian, Alicia as the sailor and myself as the biker. Without really knowing the words and forgetting to turn the microphones on we were up singing YMCA as loudly as possible.
The night continued with two very drunk Blink 182 members (the Blondes) and a fairly drunk indian. Unfortunately their night was cut short due to a bit of over drinking, bit of an efforting getting them home that night.
There was the auction in which Skye paid about $350 for Manus and then getting to sing Brown Eyed Girl together. The night went off and was a hit, of course a few hitches along the road but all in all it turned out to be a fantastic night. Oh and the Village people won the best dressed group.

7. Presentation Night - League presentation dinner, the night of nights for the womens football league. With everyone getting dressed up, a fair few in dresses and a fair few in suits. The night held many good moments, including the fact Tootie was in a dress. The night brought many things, Donna drinking from a wine bottle, Simmo stealing everyone's little footies, Tootie trying to dance with her dress half falling down, the massive cheers anytime a swan got a point.

8. The Blondes first outting at the Court - A fairly entertaining night with the two blondes ripping up the dance floor until they got thrown out for jumping on the big brother chair. This then lead them to claim that they were purely being thrown out because they were straight, which also was followed by them on their knees begging to come back in. Luggsy however went and jumped the wall just for the sake of it and then walked straight back out, confusing the hell out of the security. Gotta love those two.

9. Reserves First Win - Reserves 1st win of the year came in round 14 against Joondalup, with a couple of extra league players, the girls played a ripper game. It was obvious that it was the first win for the girls with us celebrating as though it was a finals match.
With our normal pub having some jazz shindig on we all headed back to Chella's for pizza and a fair few drinks. Throw in tequila, video camera, pool table, Cherades and singstar and it was a pretty awesome night.
Donna due to a few early shots passed out for a couple of hours. Alicia took over the singstar after her tequila shots and then got sent to sit in the corner and finish her water. The nerds sat with the massive jigsaw and attempted to complete it. Tootie and CJ battled Stotty and Skye in the continous pool game. Chucky was down in perth and took control of the camera and provided some entertainment. Chella was on the singstar as normal, Charlie joined in plus a few others. The night went on for a fair while and was a well waited celebration.

10. After the Southern River Game - Back to Hel and Jaye's for a bbq and to celebrate Stotty's birthday. Some of the girls managed to discover the vortex in the back yard which provided entertainment for a while.
This then lead into the creation of the hoop game, which in fact had rules; a 4 on 4 game, 5 points for hitting the head, 20 points for the hoop, 40 points for the box and 50 points if you flinched. Not only was it entertaining for those playing but I would have to say it was an incredibly interesting game to watch, especially when the torpedo went over the fence.
Later the majoriy moved inside to watch the DVD of the great footy moments, which provided a few good moments. Anyways highlight of the day went to the hoop game, twas a good day.

11. The Guildford - Our team pub, it's seen some very good moments throughout the year.
There was the mass group spoon on the stage.
Chucky attempting to get on one of the high chairs when on crutches and rather drunk and then was unable to put the glass down.

Sadly The Guildford was destroyed in a fire on the 31/8/08, the Swans are still in the search for a new nest

12. Rehearsal at Skye's - Of course for karaoke night it required rehearsal. Our original idea, KISS, including Jonesy, Skye, Alicia and myself. After about an hour on one night of rehearsal this turned into Beach Boys and we added Stotty to the group, Skye then spent half the night searching all of her cds to find 1 song. Once the song was found, Alicia was passed out and we headed out to go pick up Simmo and Sub to prevent them sleeping on the street. Next rehearsal night we decided we would write our very own version of a Beach Boys Classic, took majority of the night to come up with a verse and chorus. The following night we threw this idea out the window and as Donna happened to also be there we decided to change again to the Village People, which after much asking around we did discover there was actually 6 people. This then lead to Skye searching all her clothes to play dress up with us all. Luckily all this effort paid off and we managed to win best dressed group on the night.

13. Semi-Final Day - After an awesome win in the semi final against East Freo we headed back to the Guildford to celebrate making the Grand Final and Beef's Birthday. By about 6 we'd taken over nearly the entire pub and we had the man playing guitar singing all sorts of requests for us. The pool tables were constantly occupied, the juke box was blasting, drinks were being downed and there was dancing and singing. Unfortunately the Guildford has to shut on Sundays and a few of us headed back to Chella's to keep the night going. With Charlie and Alicia already in my car we piled Simmo and Jonesy in as well, Jonesy did have some difficulty getting in the car as she tried to climb over Alicia and actually sit in a seat...according to Simmo all Jonesy had to do was a 3 point turn. Eventually once they we were in we headed to Chella's, but of course on route to Chella's there happens to be a maccas. Since we weren't allowed inside Charlie announced a family drive through trip. With too many orders we requested if we could actually go to the window rather than order at the box. The backseat ordered theres first, Alicia a burger without onion and pickle, Jonesy a normal feed and Simmo a big mac without meat which of course set us all of laughing and the lady at the window trying to contain her entertainment. Anyways we eventually got our food and continued on to Chella's with group sing a long the entire journey. After an awesome night Alicia and myself headed home leaving the others watching Chopper and enjoying their macca's feed.

14. Grand Final Day - Swans make the Grand Final and it's celebrations all round no matter what the outcome. Unfortunately for swans it wasn't the best outcome and we suffered another defeat to the Titans. But in true swans spirit celebrations continued. We headed back to the club rooms, red rooster, cricket, a juke box and a booze, of course fun was assured. A giant dick appeared which soon became the thing for everyone to sign along with a few shirts. Celebrations then continued to our home the Guildford where we continued to party, there was many highlights including Teely falling over a barrier, crazy pool cue man and a bit of car park fun. After this some headed out to northbridge, a few headed home and a few just kept talking!
